The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on this 2012 Ford Escape were going to test fit part number WT443541 from Weathertech. This is our floor liners for the front row. Were working with the black color today. This is also available as tan, as part number WT453541 and grey, as part number WT463541. One thing to know about this floor liner is that this is designed for models with two posts on the drivers side floor. Well go ahead and start off our test fit by removing the original floor mats.
You can see on our drivers side that it does have the two posts on the floor. When we fit in our new Weathertech mat, we can see that theyll snap into place, and that it has an edge going all the way around and it matches the contour of the floor. It also goes up to the threshold by the drivers side door and goes up around and over the footrest and behind the pedals. On the passengers side, once again it goes up by the threshold by the passengers door, goes up the floorboard a little bit, and matches the contours of the floorboards as well. With that, that will finish it for our test fit of part number WT443541 from Weathertech on our 2012 Ford Escape..
