Today on a 2004 Toyota Highlander, we'll be doing a test fit of the WeatherTech second row rear auto floor mat in the tan color, part number, WT450392. This mat is also available in gray, part number, WT460392, as well as black, part number, WT440392. To begin with, we need to remove any existing floor mats or liners that may already be in place. Next, we'll go ahead and put our new WeatherTech second row floor mat in place. You'll notice here on the center section, there would need to be an area trimmed out for it to fit around the console properly. Now for this particular vehicle, we already have an older mat. This actually already have the center section cut out of it.
We're going to use this older mat for demonstrations so you can see how it would fit when you trim out the center piece to go around the center console. Let's also do a side-by-side comparison showing you how the mat will look when you receive it, and if you have this particular vehicle, how you may need to trim the center section of the mat out for it to fit properly in your vehicle. As you can see here with the center section trimmed out, the mat fits in there perfectly. It's come toward to your vehicle's floor, as well as giving you complete coverage from the door seal to the door seal on both the passenger and the driver side. There's also a texture built-in to the mat to help channel dirt and bring away from your feet.
