Video Transcript for Installing the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on your 2021 Ford F-150

Hey, its Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and installing these WeatherTech Front auto floor mats on our 2021 Ford F-150. These are just gonna replace our factory mats. They're going to fit that spot, and they're gonna keep our interior much dryer much cleaner. So let's get them installed and see how they work. Before we get this mat in, I just wanna point out these anchor points on the back.

These are just gonna fit into the anchor points we have on our driver's side. So I'm just gonna install this front side first, fitting it under the pedals, and then I'm gonna line up these anchor points with these nubs here on the bottom just like that, and snap it into place. And our driver's side mat is installed. for passenger side mat, the mat itself does have those spots for the anchor points but on our F-150 we don't. So this is just a matter of sliding it and fitting it into place, and friction will do the job From there.

Taking a look at the driver's side fit overall, it looks like it does a pretty good job fitting into all the contours and the cracks that we have. We have a nice high wall here on this side. Everywhere else, everywhere else, it's pretty short, but it does fit really well, including up and underneath our gas and brake pedals. So tons of room there and I think it fits really well. Here we have these channels, they're featured on both mats, and these ridges on the lower portion.

These channels are gonna keep funneling that dirt, debris, or liquid away from your feet, and these bridges are gonna keep it up and away, or your feet elevated up and away from that mesh so you're not just tracking it around. Taking a look now on the fit of our passenger side mat. Pretty much everywhere, again, we do have a really nice fit. Again, the wall fits really flush against the side, and we have room where our feet are gonna go. There is just this one gap here towards the door.

I think a lot of that is just stored memory in the map from how it arrived. So I think with a little bit of time and a little bit, maybe like a warm day, this is just gonna decompress and eventually fill that gap in a little bit, but maybe not quite all the way. In the case of both mats they are made of a rubberized plastic material, so they're pretty rigid and they're definitely gonna hold up to long-term use, whether that's just getting in and out of your car frequently, or maybe you just work a job that requires you to have muddy shoes pretty frequently. These are gonna hold up really well. So again, just to reiterate, these mats are gonna be a really useful replacement for just your standard factory mats. The material they're made of is gonna hold up well to long-term use, whether that's just making debris and liquid funnel to an area where you can clean off the mat or you wanna remove them, hose them off and put them back in. In either case, you're gonna keep the interior of your car much cleaner. This again was just a quick look at those WeatherTech front auto floor mats, and how they fit in our 2021 Ford F-150.
