Video Transcript for Fit Check: WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2012 Ford F-150

Today our 2012 Ford F150 we're going to review an install, The Weathertech front auto floor mats. Part number WT446111, black in color. This application is also available in grey, part number WT463341 or tan, part number WT456131. As you can see with this old floor mat or liner, there's a lot of dirt built up around the liner and no coverage up underneath the gas, or break pedal, or drivers foot rest. Go ahead and pull this old mat out and install the new Weathertech floor liner. The Weathertech floor liner is going to fit right in as it's custom molded and shaped to the vehicle's floor board. We even have these special cut outs to go over top the manufactures dual mount post. Here we have the raised outer edge and extension up underneath. Covering the driver's foot rest and our brake and gas pedal, containing all that dirt, dust, and debris that the previous liner would not. We have the raised outer age and it continues on here in front of the front row seat tracking.

As it's nicely custom molded to fit the shape and the contour of the vehicle's floorboard. Another really nice feature is the extension out from over the carpeting and onto the threshold. That way if we have a lot of liquid spill or inclement weather such as: snow, ice, or rain, it builds up here on the floor liner and can simply run out over the threshold. But for just a little bit of fluid the channels and moldings here in the bottom of the floor liner will help to direct the liquid away from the drivers feet so it keeps him nice and dry. Over on the passenger side we can see there's no coverage between the floor mat and the threshold. All that dirt, and debris that's building up.

Go ahead and pull it out of the way. We can really see all that rock, and dirt that's falling off of the liner and onto the vehicles carpeting. Now if we put the new Weathertech mat in place, all that debris that would've originally fallen off is not caught by our raised outer edge and our extension out over the threshold. Here on the passenger side we've got the raised outer edge for the protection of our kick panel, and then even further extension up underneath the dash. Still conforming to the vehicle's floor board, but giving us additional protection. Another really nice feature is how well it conforms to the vehicle floor board so it doesn't slide or shift around. Additionally our mats are easy to install.

Could also easily be removed, and cleaned, and wash with soap and water. Once we have them installed we're ready to hit the road. That will do it for the Weathertech custom auto floor mats for the front row part number WT446111, black in color, for our 2012 Ford F150. .
