Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Weathertech front floor mats. These will be gray in color, and you know your part number WT465221, if you'd like to get these in black, it would be part number WT445221, and if you'd like to get them in tan, it will be part number WT455221. Now we've removed our factory floor mats, lets go ahead and install the contoured front floor mats. Now looking on the bottom here, you'll see that you have your tabs from your factory floor mats, and on the bottom side here, you're going to have that nice felt that sit over the top of them. First we'll go ahead and slide in the front, underneath of the pedals. You may have to bend it up a little bit, just to get it underneath there, and it also helps if you have these in a warm temperature before you install them, that way their easily contoured for your vehicle. We'll just press them into place until they rest nice and flush.
Giving that nice sleek look. You can see it's going to have that raised edges, so if you have debris, or any water, snow, mud on your shoes, that when you get inside here, it's all going to flow down the sides, into the nice gripped area here. You can see here that it's going to go up and underneath the peddles, giving you plenty of room on the backside, so that it doesn't get caught or hung up. Now we'll go ahead and place in the passengers side. Now these will simply just rest right down on the inside. Placing the front end down first, so it meets up with the contour, and then back down like so. You can see that it will fit around the edge here, nice and easy, resting into place.
These will be easily cleanable with the use of warm water, and soap. That will complete our test fit of the Weathertech front floor mat system, part number WT465221, on our 2015 Chevrolet Malibu.
