The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Today on our 2012 Kia Sorento, we'll be installing the WeatherTech Rear FloorLinerfor the second row, part number WT442872, in black. This is also available in grey,part number WT462872, and tan, part number WT452872. To begin this installation, we'll need to remove the old or factory floor mats from thevehicle. In this case, it is a one-piece liner. We'll then simply set the newWeatherTech FloorLiner in its place, allowing it to conform to the floor of the vehicle.You'll notice that this liner is a one-piece and does cover the center hump. Its patentedtri-extruded composition offers rugged durability and excellent grip.
The deepsculpted channels in the reservoir keep fluids and debris in the liner, and off yourcarpet. Another great feature of the WeatherTech FloorLiners is that it can be easilyremoved from the vehicle, washed with soap and water, and after drying, returned forfurther use.
