Today I have my mother's 2019 Cadillac XT5 and we're gonna be taking a look at a very important piece of the puzzle. And that is the WeatherTech Rear Cargo Area Floor Mat. Especially with the new car, the key is to protect that car and keep that dealer cleanliness, as long as possible. So the WeatherTech is gonna be the king, of all the different type of Cargo Area Protectors you may be putting in your vehicle. The reason why I like this so much is one and this has really, really high ridges, which is nice. So if you put a crock pot back here, she likes to cook.
If it falls over, it's gonna keep all that content inside. And also, just the coverage that we get. As you can see, there is no floor in sight, which I love that. Just the fact that they have a digitally designed piece, just for your specific vehicle, is awesome. So the cool thing about this is, no floor in sight.
Second thing, it's not really gonna shift around because it's so tight in the area. And the reason why I like the fact that it's super custom fit to it, we don't have to have all those little dimples in here, all little spikes because that does make a little pattern on our carpet. And I just don't like that. I wanna keep the carpet as nice as possible. So that is the cool thing with this, the custom fit, won't shift it around and you're not gonna leave all those dots, down on the carpet.
It's gonna be really easy to clean. It's made of a TPO material, so it's not really rubber but it's not like hardcore plastic. So it is pretty malleable. So if we did spill something in here, I would take it. It's not too hard to fold it in, just pull it out, dump all that gross stuff out.
And then you can either hose it off or whatever. I do suggest, grabbing the cleaning kit that we have for these, just because whenever you clean it, sometimes you just clean it with water. Some of those stains kind of stay there, but they won't, If you use our cleaning kit. As you can see it has a nice little shiny finish to it. So I did use this cleaning kit, to clean this up but you notice there are a little bit of scratches. It is impact resistant, but with any format you're gonna have a little bit of wear and tear, if you're sliding stuff around. And that's just pretty much with anything. I do like the material it's made a TPO, like I said. And it's a little bit better than some of the rubber stuff, I have a rubber WeatherTech right here. I don't necessarily love the rubber materials. I mean, this is another WeatherTech, but we're gonna have to kind of trim it out. This will be another option for you whenever you're looking on our site, but it doesn't have those raised edges like we want. And of course we have to kind of trim it up. But if I we're choose between the two, of course I'm gonna go with the one on the bottom, just because it's a little bit more coverage and it's less of a rubbery material. So it's gonna be easy to kind of slide stuff in and out. But then also a little bit easier to clean in my opinion. We have black right now, I think that was the best for my mom's vehicle because it has black interior but we also have cocoa, tan and gray. So pick whatever looks the best for your vehicle. And that's pretty much it for our look at the WeatherTech Rear Cargo Area Mat, on our 2019 Cadillac XT5..

The lip around the edge doesn’t really hold its shape to well to contain liquids, and the bottom has no spikes or traction, so the whole thing slides on the carpet. It slowly slides toward the door, and then the door doesn’t close. Good material I guess, but really poor design. Ill buy a different one as soon as I catch my breath after paying WeatherTech prices for something that doesn’t do the job.
This cargo liner is fantastic!
The fit is precise and matches the trunk of my car exactly. It is slightly thinner than I was expecting, but the liner is very light yet stiffer than regular floor mats. The light and fairly flexible material makes for quick add/remove easing cleanup. Edges around the entire perimeter are over 1" tall and will hold a significant amount of water/dirt/whatever without destroying the trunk.
Exact fitment. Quick shipping from etrailer. Made for my car. Looks like a factory accessory. I would recommend both the Weathertech custom floor mats and etrailer for the positive shopping experience I had.

It does not fit. When I called to complain I was told to just cut the corner off and then it would fit. Your ads say they are laser measured to fit perfectly, the cargo liner does not fit!
Looks and fits great

When I received the mat, I warmed it in the sun to soften it and dropped it into place for a perfect fit in the kinda quirky space of a Bolt EV. It's especially handy on a nursery run when we come back with dripping wet plants with soil attached. Just pop it out, dump out the water, soil, etc and pop it back in. After a year of faithful service, we highly recommend this product.
Perfect fit for the 2025 Lexus GX 550 6 seater model, given Lexus does not make a large cargo mat/liner. Just let it sit out in the sun for 5 mins and it will unfurl and be ready tor installation.
I purchased the WeatherTech mats for the front and for the cargo area of my '17 Chevy Bolt. The front floor mats fit perfectly once they were warmed up in the house to make them more flexible. To me, WeatherTechs are more plastic-like than rubber-like but they do the job. I had issues with the cargo mat. Be aware that there are different mats for the "false floor" and the floor in the cargo well for the Bolt and this wasn't clear at the time of my purchase. Make sure you know which mat you want to save return and repurchase.

The WeatherTech liner fits well in the back of our new Toyota Sienna and provides the protection we wanted for the interior when we travel. We normally stow the third row seats since it's just the wife, dog, and I travelling so the mat protects the stowed seats/carpet from the soiling and wear/tear of our luggage, gear, etc.
We are extremely pleased with both the product and the great service.
I very much like etrailer (vendor) but this particular product (weather tech cargo liner) does not meet my full expectations. It fits nicely in vehicle when 3rd row seating is folded down but when 3rd row seating is up you have to remove the weather tech cargo liner. The OEM version from KIA has a fold such that when the 3rd row seating is raised, the cargo liner simply folds back on itself (and fits nicely regardless if the 3rd row is up or down).

Just installed it fits well it was kinda rolled up so it still isn't laying flat but I'm sure it'll get sorted out
