Today in our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40442. This is also available in gray, part number WT42442, and in tan, part number WT41442. Here in the back of our Equinox, you can see we've already vacuumed this up, but all this dirt and grit has actually embedded itself into the carpeting. To prevent that any further, we're going to go ahead and install our WeatherTech Cargo Mat. We just take it out of the box. It's going to come rolled up so you just want to take it out and lay it in the sun for a little bit. That's going to allow it to make it lay flat.
Now you can see with our cargo mat installed, it's got this nice lip; it's going to go all the way around. That's going to help contain any spills should you spill some liquid or even some dirt or something like that. It's going to stay in our cargo mat and not get onto our carpeting. This is also designed if your vehicle has these seats that do recline back, this will fold up when you slide your seats back and you'll have some extra room. Now with our seats pushed all the way back, you can still see we have protection up against here even when the seats are all the way back and when they're forward, we have a little bit more cargo space as well. We're going to have these raised channels, these raised ribs here with channels; that's going to help keep the dirt and debris off of the objects that you're carrying. It's also going to let it kind of roll of out the way if we get some liquid in there and keep it off of our precious cargo.
It does have a texture to it. It's going to be more like a non-skid finish so if we have something that's going to be sliding around in the back, it's going to help cut down on that. Should your mat ever become dirty, you can simply clean it with some mild soap and some water or you can pick up some WeatherTech Cleaner/Protector kit that's available on our website, part number WTALTC36K. That's going to do it for our look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in Black, part number WT40442, on our 2013 Chevrolet Equinox.
