Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. And today we're talking about the WeatherTech Third Row Custom Floor Mats and our 2023 Kia Sorento. This will be a really good option for you if you're looking for something that's gonna capture a lot of debris and prevent it from staying inside your vehicle, especially if you do have kids who are running around, playing outside, bringing all that dirt or water on their shoes inside your car. So let's check them out. Since this is a custom fit, it's gonna fit really nice and snug back here. You'll notice this actually contours around how our seats are in place and actually goes a fair bit underneath here.

I can actually put my whole hand here and I'm still touching that mat. Now the ones on the outer edges, like right here, aren't gonna go back as far, but when these seats are in the upright position, this is gonna give you plenty of space to cover. They're gonna have a little bit of sidewalls too, so if any debris is caught in here, it'll be less likely to fall out. Now there's some pros and cons of that. They could be taller and they'd be a little bit better at keeping that stuff in here, but having those higher sidewalls would be really hard to get fitted in here.

Especially since, like I was talking about earlier, this center spot goes really under far underneath our seat and it's already kind of difficult to get in place as it is now. We also gonna have these areas that are be raised, and those raised surfaces are designed to keep your feet away from any debris that is just resting in here, so it's not getting back onto your shoes. As far as cleaning goes, they're actually really easy to clean. Like right here where I was put in my foot, there was some dirt, and a lot of that I could even wipe off just for my thumb. It'd be a lot easier if I had a rag or a wet paper towel.

But there are gonna be some points where you have a lot of spillage in here, whether that be someone dropped something or a spilled a cup of something in here, and you're gonna have to take this out to clean it. And it's kind of difficult like I was talking about earlier, because realistically, if I'm trying to take this out without spilling anything, I'm trying to do it without doing this, because right now this is at an angle and this can get back into your car. And in the center area you can really see how far back it goes, just like this. Now you'll be able to catch a lot of it, I think, but some of it's definitely gonna go back into your car. And something you'll see now that this is out, we have this lined with nibs.

And what these are doing is helping to secure it down so it's not sliding all over the place. It's also gonna be made out of a rubber with a plastic liner inside, or insert inside. And what that's doing is keeping it or giving it to a good shape, but for its how thin it is, it's still pretty flexible too. But in my opinion, I think this is a really good option because we don't have a whole lot of choices when it comes to third row seating. And this is giving you a whole lot of coverage too. And honestly, if you're thinking about getting third row seating, then I'd recommend investing in some second row seating too, if you haven't already.
