Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

How's it going, Subaru owners This is Ed here with etrailer.com. And if you have carpet on the front seat of your Outback, this is gonna be a way to protect it. I have the WeatherTech floor liners for your 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness Edition. The thing that's special about WeatherTech floor mats is the fact that they are laser-measured to fit the inside of your vehicle in ways that other floor mats aren't. So they're gonna give you a lot more coverage. So let's go ahead and throw this guy inside and I'll show you how it fits.
And your floor mats are gonna slide right in the front seat of your outback. This goes right in, and you can see that you're gonna have these higher ridges that are gonna give you extra protection against your plastics and everything that's up here where your feet kind of travel sometimes on those longer trips when you stretch your legs out. You're gonna cover the most amount of carpet versus the OEM mats that come with it. So we're gonna go head to head with the OEM wilderness mats, and you can see that they're not bad mats at all. They're really, you can tell they're gonna keep the rug from getting wet and it's gonna hold up and give you additional tread.
But you can see with the materials between the two that the WeatherTech is a lot thicker, it's a lot more rigid as well. So that's gonna give you a lot more stability when it's on the inside. On the flip side right here, you can kind of see that you have the nubs that are gonna hold it into place on the OEM, whereas this one, it's kind of designed to fit into the space on the floorboard where it's not necessarily needing to, where shifting isn't the same type of concern. So, you know, this is gonna hold in and stay right in its place. Overall, the only other thing that I would say is that you can see, just going head to head, how much more coverage that you're getting on the side walls and your plastic.
You can literally put the OEM one inside of the WeatherTech. So overall, WeatherTech is gonna give you the most coverage on the bottom of your floor versus your OEM mats. It's gonna allow you to keep your rug looking nicer and newer for longer, and I would say WeatherTech goes through some pretty solid, rigorous testing to make sure that it's gonna hold up for the lifespan of your vehicle. One thing that I would suggest when people ask me about floor mats and WeatherTech floor mats, I suggest going with the tech care cleaner protector to keep 'em looking nice and new for as long as possible.
