Him I'm Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about our WeatherTech auto floor mat in your cargo area in our 2021 Ford Explorer. Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're taking in a lot of dirty items and putting it in the back of your cargo area. Things maybe like a jack or anything else that's gonna be outside. So let's take a closer look at how to put it in. So we're actually gonna have to take off this lid right here and just set this aside.
And the way this is gonna slide in here is pretty straightforward. It's just gonna line up and contour the inside of this storage compartment and sit right in the place. And this is gonna be a great spot if you need to put anything for maybe changing a tire in here or if you need to put your extra fluid somewhere. And that's where this really comes in hand. If you have any leaks that occur or when you are jacking something up, maybe you're on some dirty areas, whether that be dirt, gravel, or anything else along those lines, this is gonna be able to catch a lot of that debris and what's gonna help all of that debris in here are gonna be these sidewalls.
So since it is so flush with the sides, we don't have to worry about anything slipping through here. And then we're also gonna have these channels that run across and that's gonna keep any of your items that do sit in here away from the debris. What I really like about this design too, is like, how you saw how easy it was to put in here. This is pretty flexible. It's still a pretty durable rubber plastic, but with me just bending it like this, it's gonna be really easy just to grab it, take it out, and then I can just dump it out on the side and clean it up afterwards.
And once you're done with that, just put it right back in. And overall, this is just gonna be a simple way of just keep in the back of your Explorer clean if you do have a lot of items that you've taken out and put 'em back in, or you're just worried about any leaks occurring.
