Video Transcript for How to Install the WeatherTech HP Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2021 Ford Ranger

Hey, everybody. Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech HP front auto floor mats on our 2021 Ford Ranger. Now, what I do really like about the WeatherTechs is the fact that they are so custom fit that the installation process is just as simple as just sliding it into place and it will find those cracks and crevices in your Ranger and just kind of settle into place with a much faster installation process than a lot of our universal or even factory fit mats. Taking a closer look in at our passenger mat, we can see just what we mean when we're talking about how it fits the contour, especially around that sidewall and the seat, how it just perfectly fits that molding along our vehicle which is going to help us be able to trap any sort of like dirt, grime, maybe water bottle spills or anything onto that mat instead of getting our vehicle dirty. With our factory mat on top of the WeatherTech, we can see just how much extra room we are adding onto it to help protect our vehicle from just any sort of dirt or grime that we may carry into the car from any of our adventures that we take on outside.

The HP in these WeatherTechs actually stands for high profile, so whenever you are going to take out the mat to shake it off, you don't necessarily have to worry about it all falling off the sides like you would with this pad here that is our factory one. Now, these mats are going to come two to a set, one for your front passenger and this one here for your front driver. And what's really nice is it actually uses these factory points here to lock our mat into place so there's even less movement from this one than there is on the passenger side. And again, with just how long they are, fitting up under our pedals even so that way, even if there's something that falls off on our foot wall where, you know, operating those pedals with our feet, they do fall down and get trapped into the WeatherTech floor mats. Overall for WeatherTech floor mats, I am a very big fan.

I do really like the fact that they come in that rubberized thermoplastic, which is just a really nice solid material even compared to some of the other options that WeatherTech has. The fact that it's more flexible and just feels a little bit more durable in your hands means it's going to stand up to those seasons and seasons of use that you're gonna have, tracking all sorts of dirt and grime into 'em. And even with that, I do recommend getting the high profile like we have here today because of that extra space and coverage that they're gonna give. Just again, ensures that you're going to keep the inside of your car as clean as possible for as long as possible.
