Durable, Textured Thermoplastic Rubber Top Layer
The top layer is made of thermoplastic rubber, which is rigid and will not deform over time. The carbon fiber embossed pattern in the rubber helps keep your passengers' feet firmly in place even when it's wet. This fine-textured pattern also adds a refined, stylish appearance to each mat.
The inner layer is made of XPE - a cross-linked polyethylene. XPE is waterproof, sound insulating, shock absorbent, and thermostatic. This layer blocks water from reaching your carpet, and it can help prevent road noise from disturbing your drive. It can also help regulate the temperature inside your car by preventing hot or cold air from entering or escaping through the floor.
Patented OmniGrip fibers make up the bottom layer. Also known as MAXpider grips, these fibers firmly grab onto your carpet without damaging it and help keep the mats from sliding around. And because the mats won't shift and expose areas of your carpet, they offer even better protection from dirt.
These StyleGuard floor liners are precisely molded to cover your vehicle's 2nd-row carpet area. During a unique digitizing process, a 3-D scanner takes an image of the floor. The liners are created using this digital image so that they fit your specific model perfectly.

Today on our 2016 Subaru Outback, we'll be having a look at the Aries style guard custom auto floor liners with omni grip for the second row, part #AASB013215B. We already have our driver's side floor mat installed in the back of our Subaru Outback that we have here today. As you can see, it contours very nicely along our floor pan, here, along our center console, and goes up underneath our seats a little bit. This mat is constructed of three separate layers. On our top layer, is a rubberized material so we don't have to worry about having our feet slip around while we're getting in and out of the vehicle. It provides us a little extra security there. We have a middle foam layer to give us some padding.
Finally, on the bottom, we have a carpet-like material on the bottom of it, which will have grab onto our factory carpet so our mat won't slide around. We really don't' have to worry about our mat sliding around though, because it's designed to fit around in a very tight fit unto our contours of our vehicle. This water resistant mat will help protect your carpet underneath from any water damage, or any staining that could occur. I want to point out, this mat has a nice raised lip around the edge of it, around the entire perimeter of it, that will help contain any spills that may occur. Now, before we install our passenger side floor mat, it's a good idea to take a vacuum and vacuum up any loose dirt and debris that may exist. All right, with our carpet cleaned off, we'll take our new mat, slide it up underneath our passenger seat, and push it down into position. As you can see, it has the same features as the driver's side mat.
It fits around all of our nooks and crannies. It follows the contours of the vehicle nicely. It is a very snug fit, right down into place. Looks like it was there from the factory. Now, cleaning your mats is very simple.
Just spray it down with some soapy water, and use a towel, and scrub it, and wipe it clean. Alternatively, if you want, you can take the mats out of your vehicle, hose them off with your garden hose, in your driveway, and let them air dry out in the sun before you replace them inside your vehicle. Drivers side fits great. Passenger side doesn't sit perfectly flush with floor. They look nice but we will see how they hold up to hunting season and kids.
Unfortunately I can't quite give a full review at this time. Because when the box arrived both ends were open. And when looked inside to pull out the floor mats they were both the passenger side not one of each but two of the same and one of them was dirty . I have since emailed a photo to Natalie L but I have yet to hear back. But I have never had a bad experience with etrailer and I am positive the outcome will be fine. Great company so far and would highly recommend.
