What's up everybody It's AJ with Etrailer.com Today, we're gonna be checking out the Coghlan Water Resistant Bags. So these are going to be good for sealing up any electronics you don't want to get splashed with water now they're not waterproof, they're water resistant. So it's more so, let's say you throw it in one of these and then put in your backpack, you're around water. You just don't want anything to accidentally get wet. It's going to help against that splash or that rain it'll keep that off that stuff too. Or like you see here we put bug spray and sunscreen in there just so you're not worried about anything spraying out and affecting the rest of your bag.
It's all going to stay contained. Let's check them out. We're looking at two different sizes of the day. We've got the 10 1/2 by 13 1/2 and then the five by seven. So they're going to be good for different uses this one's got a phone, wallet and a pocket knife in it.
And this one's got three bottles which is three of them are going to be bug spray and one of them is going to be sunscreen. Just by holding up you can feel that heavy duty vinyl material. It's not just some plastic bag that's going to rip really easily. This thing feels pretty tough. It's got some weight to it.
So, you know it's going to hold up in that bag. Now it also has an opening similar to the dry bags. It's got a hook and loop here at the top. So you kinda roll it to seal it up. You see the hook and loop holds pretty good here all the way down.
And you got the two flaps you unroll this and then that's how you can get to the bag, just like that. You put your items, take them out, put them back in. And when you go to seal it, fold those two ends together and then you roll it down make sure to put that, like that and you roll it down into itself and attach the hook and loop again. So you see, it's not just pushed together. It's rolled backwards and pushed together. So then that's several layers the water has to go through to even get to the inside. I don't know about you, but I want to put it to the test. We're going to pour some water on it and see how they hold up. We're going to make sure they're sealed up here at top. I'm gonna send them down here, got water in my cooler. So we're just going to pour it on the bags. See the water just beads up on the outside you can just wipe it off pretty easily. So I'm going to guess that there is none on the inside either. Yep. All dry on the inside. And I also brought the five by seven one. I really like how the hook and loop stays pretty nice and tight. Pull the phone out. There's no water inside the bag. If you can see you in there you can see the drops on the outside. And our phone is still turns on. Overall I think this would be a great addition to your camping gear. I think whether you're hiking or you're near water, or heck even if you're just sitting out by your tent it wouldn't hurt to put your stuff in here. 'Cause you never know when it's going to rain and it would just keep everything protected. Well, thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..
