Hello, neighbors. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's go off-road together and take a look at this ARB Safari Off-Road Snorkel. That's right, folks. This is a 2016 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma fit, and it is a custom fit, so I want to invite you to check out our Fit Guide here at etrailer.com, top center of that homepage. Enter things such as year, make, and model and anything else it asks you when you're looking for specific parts.

We want to make sure you get the right parts the first time, so we always recommend you use that Fit Guide. Keep in mind, videos can be outdated, and it could possibly fit newer years as well. Now, when this is installed, it is gonna let you take your air intake from a vulnerable low position underneath the hood and raise it high above the hood, up on the A-pillar a little bit. It will reduce the moisture and dust that reaches your engine and provide you with cooler and cleaner air to the engine. Now the scoop here, at the top of the snorkel, will and can rotate 360 degrees, however you need to point it.

Now, this will help minimize exposure to strong rain, snow storms, that kind of stuff because if you're coming head into a nice big storm, you could twist it a little bit to the side or however you need to. It's still gonna suck in air even though it's not pointed forward. It just wouldn't have the maximum amount of fresh air coming in. Now everything here is made of a very stable UV polyurethane, and it's gonna hold up to harsh off-road conditions. Now this guy here is a nice EPDM-molded duct, and it's gonna connect and withstand temperatures of up to 266 degrees Fahrenheit.

So that's the part that's going under the hood up to the air box. Now you're gonna get all the included stainless steel hardware included. You're gonna get all the hose clamp rings, washers, the threaded rods, nuts, some plastic clips that go in the A-pillar with this A-pillar bracket, and a couple of other pieces of hardware to connect that bracket. Now I want to flip this over so I can show you those connection points. Okay, so you can see all these little brass threaded inserts.

That's where these stainless steel rods will go in. Keep in mind, these are going through your fender. Kind of hard to start without the nut on. So these will go through your fender, and then the matching locking nut would go over it. And, as I mentioned, that little bracket there would go up on the A-pillar, something like this. Now I've got this up, I wanna show you this template. So one thing I like about this is they throw in this nice template. That way you can measure and cut exactly where you need to all the holes including the big oval hole for the snorkel itself. This end here would get pushed up against the fender, right up to the gap between that and the door, and that's where you would know where to mark it. So highly recommend you read the instructions when you're installing this. Make sure you get it installed correctly the first time. Now I'll zoom back out, and let's see if we can put this top on here to give you a little better mock-up of it installed. (snorkel clonking) There we go. So that guy would go up on there, and, like I said before, he can rotate 360, and then this guy here would go in, and that would connect to the air box. So a very simple design. This might give you a little better idea of kind of what it looks like when it's on the vehicle. And I probably don't have it level and everything, but you get the idea, right So again, folks, a very nice snorkel, very nice addition to your vehicle. If you're going off-roading a lot, and you want to make sure you can go through some deep water, I highly recommend this guy for you.
