When you need to secure equipment fast, sorting through mismatched gear slows everything down. This kit pairs two ratchet binders with two 20' chains rated at 6,600 lbs each, giving you two complete, properly matched tie-downs.
You get two Quick Binders rated at 7,100 lbs and two 20' x 3/8" chains rated at 6,600 lbs. All pieces are sized to work together to create two matched tie downs for securing compact tractors, skid steers, and similar machines. If you need shorter chain runs, 10' and 16' chains (e28GV and e94GV - sold separately) are available.
The Quick Binder's lever lets you quickly move between three modes as you're setting up or undoing your chains.
Note: Do not use Free-Spin to release a chain that's under load.

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna talk about some of etrailer's kits of your chain binder and chain combos. Now these are gonna be great options if you're looking for something that's gonna give you pretty much a complete solution to your needs for hauling your heavy equipment. This is gonna have a chain binder and a chain either of 10 feet, 16 feet, or 20 feet depending on which kit you go with. And then you can also get another kit that's gonna come with two chain binders and two chains of those lenghts. So that's what I mean about this really giving you everything that you really need to do to start hauling any type of heavy equipment 'cause typically you're gonna need either one set or two sets per side.
Now these are gonna be the ones that are gonna be having a 3/8 hook on there. So the binders themselves will work with your 3/8 inch links or your 5/16 links. The other thing to keep in mind is gonna be the weight capacity. This kit is gonna have a weight capacity of 6,600 pounds, but let's kinda go over how they're gonna work together. Let's work backwards.
I already have this on here at the moment. This binder's gonna work like most ratcheting styles out there. And I like a ratcheting style more than a traditional lever style. Reason why is those lever styles are gonna be a little bit dangerous at times. So when you initially try to push that down, that can come back and hit you and it's gonna be a lot harder.
And I find the ratcheting style a little bit more forgiving when it comes to trying to get everything as tight as possible in the right place. I'll loosen this up a little bit more. There we go. And that's what I like about this. This is gonna have the barrel on one side.
With my experience here at etrailer and then in the military, I've worked with a lot of chain and chain binders and I like this style the most. Yeah, I feel it's a little bit more comfortable to use. So when you actually come to grab it onto one another, these aren't gonna fight you too much. These links pretty much just glide right in there. I've had it in the past where sometimes you might have some links that have some larger welds on them and you're trying to get this as tight as possible and that little bit of a weld is getting in your way can be super annoying. I haven't found that to be an issue with this kit. So this is gonna be made from a 70 grade steel with a zinc plating on there. What that means is it's gonna be very strong and that plating is gonna help resist from rusting, especially on those longer drives through snow and ice. Now another thing we wanna think about is gonna be the binder itself. So the binders are gonna have a higher weight capacity. They're gonna be rated for 7,100 pounds, so they're fairly close. But we always wanna go from the lowest rated component just so we don't damage anything. But overall, I think this is gonna be a great kit, especially if you're gonna be replacing one part, more than likely a couple of the other parts are about to go to. So grabbing a couple extras will probably be better for you in the long run. Now, if you guys need any more information on any of the kits that we're talking about today, 'cause they're all gonna work exactly the same, let us know here at etrailer. But again, I'm Matt. Thanks for watching.
