Today we're going to review the Covercraft, work truck, True Timber SeatSaver. Now these SeatSavers are going to be for the front of your vehicle. Now the seat covers do come in a variety of colors and patterns. Also different fits for different vehicles, so please check the website for your vehicle. Let's go ahead and take a look at a couple of pieces that are already installed in our truck. Of course you've got a cover for the seat and also there's an option available for a center console. Now these are designed for work truck use, so you know when you climb in and out of your truck all the time the seats going to get torn up, so this will definitely make the seats last a lot longer on your truck. When the seats are installed you notice it actually has openings or pockets for your seat belts.

It also has some cutouts for any other things to match the contour of your seat. Talking about cutouts and little things about your seat, you notice you can't go around this area here, so it simply connects together using hook and loop fasteners. What I really like about the detail in the seat cover is that the original seat had a pocket behind it. The new seat cover replaces that pocket as well. Now our truck has controls on the side of the seat here. We can take our seat cover and it looks like it's designed to just go ahead and tuck right below the plastic here so you have easy access to everything. You can see here that it does not interfere with the operation of the seat whatsoever. Now our seat covers are created from a material that has a multi-filament polyester construction.

It kind of feels like a light duty denim material. The feel of it prevents the sticky feeling that you get from other types of seat covers neoprene or vinyl seats. These are easy to clean as well once you get them dirtied up. Just remove them, pop them into the washer, put them into your dryer, and then go ahead and put them back into your truck. We take a closer look at the seams, you will see that they are overlapped and double-stitched to help keep them strong and durable. Now these are very easy to install, no tools required. Maybe just a little bit of patience on your first time you install them. Now we'll go ahead and show you how it's easy to install with our driver's side.

First off, what I did is I laid them out to get a feel of the layout of the cloth and see how they sit. We know this is the pocket here, that we know will go onto the back side of the seat. Here's the opening over it. We're going to go ahead and slip that over the top of the seat. It's not a super tight fit but it's definitely affective.

Now we'll lift up the cover and see here and see this component, this flap and strap, this needs to be pushed underneath the seat and out the back. It may help to rotate the seat forward a little bit forward too if you need to. I was able to squeeze my fingers and the components through. Now I'm going to pull out my tab here to get all the slack. This loop here will take around the structure underneath the seat and of course this will vary from truck to truck. It's pretty easy to find right here. It may be further back in a different vehicle. We'll go ahead and loop it around the bar. Make sure we don't compress anything we don't need to like wiring, snap it back into place, and pull the buckle tight. Tuck away our access strap and let's go back to the front side of the seat. Now we'll take this bottom part of the seat, we'll pull it forward and bring it over the front edge of the seat. It's got a little bit of elastic built into it to help stretch around. One other thing, there's a little hook right here, this will catch underneath the edge of the seat, going underneath at least probably a few inches. On the side here I was able just to take it and just tuck it behind the plastic, just enough to hold it in place and out of the way. Hopefully yours may have a tighter fit due to a little bit of damage right here. Now lets go ahead and move on to the center console here which can be a little confusing. The best way to think about it is that you want to work with the console up first. Then slide the cover over it like that. Work it down on the front side because that's what we'll be seeing towards the front. This part here gets pushed underneath. We'll push it out the other side. You may have to rock this back and forth to make sure it fits okay. We're going to fold this down. Bring this edge over the top. What will happen is that this will actually fit over the lid. It may help to open up the lid first. Also it will fit in this edge right here at the latch. Make sure you have enough material to pull around the edge. Now fold it down. Now set that back down into place. You may have to stretch it a few times to just get it set the way you want it to. Then there's these straps, you want to pull these taunt around the bottom edge here and hook on to the hook and loop fasteners. This way our center console is covered up and protected but we still have access to our cup holders, which is always important, and we can still operate the lid as needed.
