Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here etrailer.com, and today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made Bahamas Courtesy Boat Flag. Now this is a flag to fly if you're traveling into international waters and going into the Bahamas. It's always a good maritime practice to fly the flag of whatever waters you're traveling in. So this is going to be our Bahamas Courtesy Flag. So it's the national boat flag of The Bahamas.
It's made of a nylon material. We'll have our reinforced fly end here. We'll actually have four hems to make sure that that doesn't fray anytime soon on us. The rest of our hems are also reinforced, so they have a double stitching there and we'll have this length of material to ensure that our attachment points are also reinforced. The grommets are made of a brass material, so we shouldn't have to worry about those rusting out on us, should stay looking nice and bright for a long time, just as vibrant on the other side.As far as size, flip that around so you can see, it's about 18" long.
If I stretch it out it measures right at that 18" and then about 12" wide. The distance between those two grommets center to center is about 10 and a quarter inches, or excuse me, about 10 and a half inches. The diameter on those grommets is about seven sixteenths, so just under a half inch. Should work with a lot of different clips out there, if you want to hang this on a flagpole, or you can also just hang it in your home or around the house anywhere you want it to be.That nylon material should last in just about any kind of weather, although it's always the best idea to take this down if it starts to get really windy, there's really high winds whipping around on that flag, starts to rain, it's just going to help the flag to last longer if you keep it protected in those incidents. If it starts to get a little dirty, you can always wash it with some mild soap or detergent.
Just make sure that it's completely dry whenever you go to store the flag. That's going to do it for our look at the Taylor Made Bahamas Courtesy Boat Flag.

12”x18” flags were of really good quality and shipping was quick.
Not only is this flag very sturdy, but it's the right shape! The dimensions, the ratio between the height and the width (the "fly"), are spot on. To others looking for a proper "Courtesy" flag, don't be put off by that "19", as that's with the good binding added, for the grommets.
Just what I ordered and as described. Looks like nice quality. Grommets appear to be securely fastened. I wholeheartedly recommend this Taylor Made boat flag.
They advertise these as boat flags. I use them on my snow plow one on each side as edge markers. It’s just a snow plow for my pick up but I like having the flags on there and every year I have to replace them under normal circumstances but with these flags, I do not have to replace them this year after year on the plow. They look great, and they’ve held up well.
We live on a 540 acre all sports private lake in the state of Michigan. Instead of flying the American flag like others along the shore line we are flying our last name of Seymour spelled out. Not sure how many boaters that cruise by know what it says, but we do! And we get a lot of compliments on these flags. Thanks
Have had this product, flag for one year and it is doing great. Mounted on our Skiff no issues with mounting or fade so far.
I've spent the past 5 months, completely refurbishing a 1958 Arkansas Traveler 14ft alum. V-hull boat and a 1988 Holsclaw Bros trailer. This flag was the last item I added to this project and being retired military, I think it dressed up the vessel beautifully and I can't wait to see it waving in the breeze during the fall fishing season here in NH!
