Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Taylor Made heavy duty dock edging. This is going to permanently install on the side of your dock. It's gonna help create a buffer between your dock and any boats that may be coming up to your dock. So it's going to help prevent any sort of damage to those boats. This is made of a sturdy, double-molded construction.
This outer layer here is a white vinyl that's going to resist transferring color to your boat's hull, so bump up against it, you're not gonna have to worry about marks or anything like that. The inner core is a eco-friendly core. It's made of 85% recycled materials, so it's gonna be very environmentally friendly for you and it is nice and durable. You can see it's got this C shape here that's gonna be great for protecting your boats in regions with even tides. So do a good job of making sure that even if a boat we're to come up and hit your deck pretty hard, this is going to help prevent any damage there.
It's very simple to get this installed. Just cut this to the length that you need, and then you can put your nail or screw in the flanges onto the side of your deck. Now, the hardware is not included with this. A good idea to use stainless steel so it's gonna resist corrosion as you're putting this in so that it will last for years to come. As far as our dimensions go, this is right about 3 and 5/8 of an inch tall, about 1 and 3/8 of an inch thick.
And then we're gonna get 25 feet altogether of this material.
