Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a quick look at the Taylor Made Step-Safe Non-Slip Adhesive Pad. So this is going to be an easy little pad to add to just about any surface that you want to make non-slip. So things like ladders for your RV, or your pool, step stool, the entryway into your RV or camper, and anywhere else you can think of ramps, other stuff. This is going to be a nice non-slip pad.
It has this rubbery, gritty texture to it. Maybe hard for you guys to see, so I'm going to bring this actually a little closer to the camera and we can get a better idea of the texture of that. So it's just kind of this coded big texture. It reminds me of rubbery sandpaper, or really coarse screen sandpaper. So it's not anything that's going to be bad for the touch, but it's going to give you a good grip, even in wet or dry conditions. It also resists any UV rays, gasoline, oil, things like that.
Things that you would typically encounter out on the road, or next to your RV, so it shouldn't have any issues with that. On the back it's going to have this adhesive material, so if you remove the backing, press it onto whatever surface you want to attach it to, it should have a nice, good grip. It's going to be pressure sensitive, so the more you press on it and hold, the better grip it's going to get. Of course, if you can, clean off that surface that you're attaching this to, make sure that it's free of any oil and dirt so it's going to get the best grip possible. And typically if this is going on to a non-porous surface, that's going to be the best. So as far as the size, it's going to be about 14 and a quarter inch long, by about three and five eighths inches wide.
Might be a little bit of variance in between there, but that's the size that I get right here on the table. So it should be a good amount of space for just about any step. If you do need to trim it down, or cut it around any edges, it does easily cut with some scissors, so you should be able to get it trimmed up to shape. But that's pretty much all there is to it for our Taylor Made Safe-Step Non-Slip Adhesive Pad. So I wanted to show you that it does have some flex too, so if you need to go around any corners, it should be able to conform to that shape as well.
Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time..
