We fully understand the frustration of throwing your vehicle into reverse only to realize that your backup camera is so grimed over that you can't even see behind you. This cleaning system lets you rinse off your backup camera from the driver's seat using your factory wiper controls. It'll get rid of stubborn road salt on a wintery day or mud after an off-road adventure, and unlike specialized cleaners, you don't have to wait until the camera is dry or until the temperature is above freezing to use it.
Uses Your Factory Wiper Fluid System
Run the tubing along the frame and tap it into your factory wiper fluid reservoir, making sure you're avoiding any moving parts like the A-arms or any hot components such as the exhaust. You won't need to do any wiring for installation - only minimal drilling is required. To mount the spray nozzle, drill a 5/16" hole on the tailgate latch using the included template and mounting hardware. Depending on your setup, you may need a center punch, a sharp razor blade, and some side cutters.

Good product that works as advertised. The instructional installation video glossed over the difficult parts. The price is exorbitant for the hardware, you're really paying for the engineering, which was good.
Took less than 1 hour. I didn’t put it on the hoist because it was being used. If it wasn’t the first time I’m sure things would be much faster.

Bought on a whim after googling products to clean the backup camera on my F150, definitely was not disappointed! Very surprised at how well of a job it does, whether fresh snow and salt or dried on, this thing powers through it all!!
Installation was straight forward, uses the existing pump and reservoir so no complex systems that will fail over time. An absolute MUST buy if your vehicle doesn't come with one!

This system is amazing. I put it on my 2018 Ford F-150 because the camera was always dirty in the winter. I had to adjust the angle at first because it was spraying cars next to me. I put a sliced washer on one side and it angled it directly at my camera (probably drilled the hole bad). Now it sprays directly onto the camera. I have always hated the gunk that got onto the camera. Had to wipe it off everytime I drove in the winter. Now. just wash it and it is clear. Amazing.
Installation was a breeze. Had to pull the tailgate apart a bit but it was simple. Drilled the hole based on the template and secured the sprayer. Ran the tubing along the underside of the truck, securing it with zip ties. Put the T into my washer line with the control valve. Easy peasy. Just a little crawling on the ground.
Now that it is in place my life with my backup camera has changed. No more curse words at it. Just run the wiper fluid and it's clean.
I highly recommend this. It has been a huge change in backing up.
Also, the guy at ClearVu answered any questions I had and was so supportive in making sure I had the information and sprayer head properly installed.
Don't hesitate to buy this. If you can't install it yourself, ask a friend who is mechanical ability.
