Polyester-covered foam won't mark your boat, and it lasts longer than rubber. Foam is flexible, so you can bend the bumper to easily fit along the side of your dock.

The bumpers are a good product and the look nice. The reason for only 3 stars is one of the four bumpers I purchased was missing the metal washers. My boat dock is 20 miles from the closest supply store, so the project was delayed. Not good??
