Micheal: Hi, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today. We're going to be taking a look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top internal Eye Ends. These internal Eye Ends allow you to connect your support poles, to your jaw slides, to securely support your Bimini Boatop. They are made out of a black nylon, and they're going to fit Bimini poles with a diameter of 7/8 of an inch to get them installed. You're simply going to take your Bimini pole and slide these in the end.
You'll screw or sorry, drill a hole into the eye end through your pole, and then pass the included screw through that hole. Instructions do also tell you to then crimp your pole down. You'll see that our end has an internal length of about 11/16th of an inch, or just under three quarters of an inch. And your crip edge is going to be about 7/30 seconds in from the end of your pole.So when you are installing these, keep those numbers in mind might be easier to measure from the outside so that you're lined up. Now to install these, we're going to need a jaw slide on our upright pole.
The jaw slide is not included in this kit, but you can find this one here at etrailer using part number 36911711. So we will line up the holes of our eye end and our jaw slide pass through the bolts that comes with the jaws slide, and that's going to give us our hinge feature so that we can have our Bimini poles in the open position. We're going to be secured to our upright pole and our jaw slide. Our kit does come with two eye ends, as well as the two screws to secure them to our Bimini poles. That's going to complete our look at the Taylor Made Bimini Top Internal Eye Ends..
