Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com, today we're gonna take a look at this replacement one and a quarter inch inner diameter auger bearing, for the Henderson Tailgate salt spreader. Now, this part will replace the auger bearing on your Henderson Tailgate salt spreader. This part number is comparable to the Henderson part number of 78499. As you can see, the bearing itself rotates very smoothly. And you can see on there they have two set screws that will help keep the pin in place. That goes on the inside here.
Has the two mounting holes right here, and if you notice right up the top here has this grease zerk fitting, for lubrication of the bearing. You can just attach your grease gun to that, and pump grease in there to lubricate it. This part is made in the USA. Few dimensions on this again. The inner diameter, which is this section right here of the bearing, it's right at one and a quarter inches, and then the distance between the mounting holes, center to center, is right at four and three quarter inches.
