Today we're going to take a look at the Flex-a-Lite 1 inch Fan Spacer Kit for a Belt-Driven fan. This Flex-a-Lite fan spacer kit will provide the required spacing that's needed from the fan to the radiator. It has a nice large bearing surface, machine soft radius, which will help reduce point loading, and that's the common cause of stress cracking on the fan center star. This spacer kit is a durable aluminum construction. It does help correctly position your belt-driven fan when you're eliminating the fan clutch. All the mounting hardware is included. I'll give you a few measurements on this.
Again, the thickness of this spacer is going to be right at 1 inch. The mounting hardware that it comes with is shown right here. The bolts they use are at 5/16 x 24 threads per inch. It's a fine thread. The length of the bolt, which is measured from under the head to the very end, is going to be right at 1 and 3/4 inches.
