Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our B&B exterior RV cable and it's a TV inlet with a one coaxial connector. Now, it does have a nice compact enclosure that's a black plastic, and it's gonna give you an enclosed style low profile exterior mount for your single coaxial cable inlet. Now, you can connect with this an incoming TV, internet, satellite coax cable to your rig, and the cover enclosure is gonna cover the entire plate and seal out all water, wind, dust, that kind of stuff while you're driving. There's a better view of the inside there.
You got a little raised edge here. And the coax will come out the back. They do include all the mounting hardware you need. You got a roll of butyl tape and three screws here to match up with the three holes. They are painted black to match the color, so a nice little addition.
Now if you're not familiar, butyl tape is simply like a putty kind of a substance, if you will, and it's waterproof. You'll roll that out onto where you're covering everything on the cutout that you did, and then you'll put the screws through this side, and that butyl tape is gonna compress, smooth out, and give you a nice, tight seal. Now some people do put caulking around the outside as an extra protection barrier. Feel free to do that as well. We sell caulk guns and some sealants separately here at etrailer as well.
