Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the AceCamp Guy Line Adjusters. These are going to allow you to adjust the tension on those guidelines, holding on your tent to your stake. But the nice thing about these, in particular, is that they do glow-in-the-dark, so that helps you to see where you're going so you don't trip over those guidelines in the dark and just also adds a little bit of fun. I kind of like anything that's made of glow-in-the-dark stuff, so it's always fun to see those. It comes with 10 in the kit. It works four chords that are going to be between an eight and a quarter-inch in diameter. If we take a closer look at these, I'll show you how they look in the dark.
It does take a little bit of time for them to fully charge, but they do have an unlimited amount of charges. So these have been sitting in the package for a little while, so they're a little bit uneven as far as which ones we're exposed to light more than others. But if we turn out the light in the studio, give our camera second there, you can see that they do glow-in-the-dark. So these two we're kind of underneath and they haven't charged as much as the others. You might want to let them sit all in the sun for a while or put a flashlight on them for a while to get them to be fully charged before you put them up.All in all, I think they're going to be pretty nice for you.
As far as overall measurements, the total length is about two and three-eights of an inch long, then about just over a half-inch, so nine-sixteenth of an inch, and then about a quarter-inch.Again, it does have that track in there to allow it to accept a quarter-inch or eighth-inch diameter rope or cord or guideline. So you just kind of snake it through there, and it'll kind of feed around and back to hold that tension. It goes in that channel, around the back, and then through there. That's about all there is to it for our look at our AceCamp glow-in-the-dark Guy Line Adjusters. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if these are going to be the right fit for you. We do have other accessories for your camping gear here at etrailer.com, so check it out.
Thanks for watching.
