From Blacksmith Shop to Your Shop

A legacy of helping neighbors, forged by hand and passed down through generations.

By 1946, Henry’s vision expanded into a full-service station and RV park. He saw a growing need for reliable parts, personal service, and fair prices—and began building what would become a regional destination for outdoor and towing enthusiasts.

As customer needs grew, so did we. In 1976, we opened a large showroom and installation center that attracted customers from all over the Midwest. And in the 1990s, we brought our expertise online with etrailer.com - so we could help even more people, from every corner of the country.

Today, etrailer is still family-run, and still driven by the same values: be hands-on, be helpful, and treat every customer like a neighbor. We’ve added videos, install guides, expert advice, and faster shipping - but we’ve never let go of our roots.

Our story began in the late 1800s, when Theodore Bross opened a blacksmith shop in Flint Hill, Missouri - a place where people came for practical solutions and honest help. In 1920, his son Henry took over and opened the Flint Hill Garage, keeping the same small-shop spirit and neighborly care alive. By 1946, Henry’s vision expanded into a full-service station and RV park. He saw a growing need for reliable parts, personal service, and fair prices—and began building what would become a regional destination for outdoor and towing enthusiasts.
