GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GSP Custom Fit Heavy Duty CV Front left Axle Assembly. Now this is going to let you upgrade your vehicle's front left OEM setup and this has been designed specifically for your 2016 to 2020 Can-Am Defender HD10, and then your 2016 to 2021 Defender HD8. On custom fit parts such as the axle, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just insert the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
I do also wanna mention that this is not intended for lifted vehicles and on your screen I am including what this is the direct replacement for. If you need to refer back to that information, that is listed here on this product page. So this steel alloy shaft is built to resist wear. It's hardened steel and the material is 40Cr(XC). And the oversized joints are going to let you climb through rough terrain and crawl over obstacles.
And the flexible tough TPEE boots are going to resist tearing and cracking. And this arrives exactly as you see it here. It's gonna be preassembled for simple installation. This is packed with high performance moly grease to reduce friction. As you probably already saw there, the axle nut is is included with this.
And the extended axle assembly length is gonna be 30.08 inches. The compressed assembly length is gonna be 28.23 inches. The inboard joint type is ball and the spine count is 21, or or spline rather. And then the outboard joint type is also ball with the spline count of 29. Now additional specs are listed on this product page.
So if there's something that you're looking for that I did not cover with you today, be sure to check this product page, see if that information is there. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it's helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
