Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this, ARB hose coupling. Now this hose coupling is used to mount a high temperature inflation hose either inside or outside your vehicle. This features the female stud to JIC dash zero four male fitting. This is directly from ARB, so you can have the confidence that this is going to work without any issues with your ARB products that use this particular coupling.
Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
I put the ARB dual compressor in my 5th gen 4runner. The dual compressor comes with a hose coupler that has a 1/4 inch thread intended to go straight on the compressor. I use it often enough that I don't want to have to open my hood every time. So I attached an extension hose and ran it to my front grill, next to the winch. The hose has a smaller fitting so I picked this one up. I like it better than the included one because it mounts flush. And has a nut on the back that secures it really well. My winch has a few threaded holes so I cut a piece of aluminum angle I had to mount it. I am not exactly a professional metal worker, but it turned out good. One annoying thing was that this doesn't include the dust cover. But I cut the dust cover off the other one and used it.
My hose and attachments pop in and out easily, feels sturdy and doesn't leak.
