What is Tongue Weight Capacity of 2013 Land Rover LR4

Question:
Hello I have a 2013 Land Rover LR4 HSE 5.0 V8 with a curb weight of 5659lbs and a tow capacity of 7700lbs. I am looking to purchase and tow a 2022 Forest river Rockwood ultra lite 2608bs with a dry weight of 6836lbs and tongue weight of 946lbs due to a front kitchen. I have been looking at the BandW continuum weight distribution hitch in hopes to make the necessary adjust to hopefully be able to tow this safely and not have too much tongue weight. Is this the correct hitch to get? Are there cheaper alternatives that are comparable? What would be your recommendation or do I need to look for an alternate trailer? Thank you!

Hey Shane, that trailer appears to have too much tongue weight for the towing capacity of your 2013 Land Rover LR4. I would have to recommend you go with a trailer that weighs a bit less. With a WD system and the Curt hitch part # 13456 it looks like you'd be limited to a trailer with an 800 lb tongue weight.
