Troubleshooting the 34" Furrion Electric RV Fireplace with Crystals

Question:
Hi! I am having a problem with this heater. It is in our 2019 Forest River Sabre 5th wheel. I have taken the out twice, cleaned it, put it back and the red light still flashes and turns itself off after only a few minutes. What else can I do? We are freezing! Thank you!

Hey Laura, I hope you've been able to find some warmth during these cold days!
Cleaning your 34" Furrion Electric RV Fireplace with Crystals FR88FR is a great first step, and the only other thing I can think of is the proximity sensor - be sure to make sure you don't have anything sitting within 3' of the front of the fireplace to ensure the sensor isn't tripped.
If the fireplace still doesn't work, you'll need to replace it because something internally is going on. We have the 32" Greystone Fireplace # 324-000076 that fits a 30-1/2" wide x 14-3/4" tall x 5-1/2" deep wall cutout so you'll need to double check that with the space you currently have.

Hey Laura, did moving items away from the front of your Furrion fireplace make any difference with the red light issue? If you had to switch to the Greystone model, it would be great to hear how it’s performing. Your update could help others dealing with the same problem.
