Replacement Rooftop AC Options For A 2019 Keystone Fuzion 410

Published 10/08/2024

Question:

I currently have a 11,000 BTU Advent installed as the front unit on a 2019 410 Keystone Fusion. Is this unit a direct replacement for the Advent? Best regards

Hey Norman,

Advent Air only offers a 13,500BTU and 15,000BTU unit so you likely have something else. Are you able to get up onto the trailer roof and remove the shroud for the unit to look for the manufacturer sticker that lists the model, serial number, etc. so we can identify what you have and look for the correct replacement?

Kevin, I am not close to the RV, it is in a different location. I know it is an Advent, not sure on the BTU. The currently installed Advent was ordered from eTrailer and replaced the factory installed Dometic. I am guessing that if the original unit was a Dometic, this unit should work, correct? Thanks

@Pete In theory yes, but Dometic does have a few models that require certain components in order to function. The Dometic Penguin II Low Profile RV Air Conditioner # DMC36ZR is one that would come with the standard 6-pin wire harness plug so it should be a compatible fit to plug into the controller. We have had some reports of functionality issues when replacing just the rooftop unit so if you can tell me what part/serial numbers listed on the controller are I can confirm fitment for you.
