Parts Needed To Connect Two 100lb Propane Tanks To a Food Truck
Question:
I have a food truck and am trying to figure out how to hook up two 100 lb propane tanks to a regulator. My propane guy gave me a copper pigtail but I don’t know what else I need and how it all goes together. Thanks

Typically when connection two 100lb propane tanks you will want to use a MB Sturgis High Capacity Two-Stage Auto Changeover Regulator # 888001-MBS and connect the tanks to it using 2 of the Pigtail hoses # 100019-24. The regulator has a maximum output of 500,000 BTU per hour and 11" water column of pressure. You will need to determine if this is enough pressure and BTU for your appliances. If this will work you the regulator has a 3/8" Female NPT outlet to go to your appliances.
