Can Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack Be Used to Haul Lumber

Question:

Hello, I’m interested in your EasyTop 8007418. My vehicle does not have roof rack or rails. I want to know if I could use the EasyTop to haul lumber like 6 or 8 pieces 10’x2”x4” and maybe 25-30lbs? This seems perfect so I don’t have to rent a truck or damage my car to haul the lumber. I can’t find any information stating that I can or can not use other than kayaks and latters in your video and photos. Thank you

As long as you've got everything secured properly I don't see any reason why you can't use the Yakima EasyTop Universal Fit Roof Rack # Y07418 to haul some lumber - I like the way you're thinking outside the box!

Thank you Jon for your answer and you helped me open huge door of possibilities are endless! Now I’m all set I can also carry pvc, metal and copper piping, gutters and downspouts the list goes on!! Michael
