Can Breaker Be Removed From Magnetek 6612 Converter on 1998 Coleman Cheyenne Pop Up Camper
Question:
I have a 98 Coleman Cheyenne pop up. I’m trying to change the breaker in the converter to see if that is why there is no power to some outlets. I’ve unscrewed everything and the front appears to be welded on. Is this an item that I cannot change a breaker for? Will I have to replace the whole converter?

If the breaker is bad on your 1998 Coleman Cheyenne then you'll unfortunately need to replace the entire converter as the Magnetek 6612 is welded together like you've found.
To replace the converter we have a few options from Progressive Dynamics and the only difference is what batteries you have or may plan on having in your pop up camper:
- Standard Batteries # PD9130
- Lithium Batteries # PD49RR
These are rated for 12V 30A applications like what you have and they convert the AC power to DC power for your breaker panel. If you want to replace your entire distribution panel so you have a whole new fuse and breaker setup then you can use the Progressive Dynamics 4100 Series # PD4135K instead.
