Recommended Roof Rack And Rooftop Tent for a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado With a Camper Shell

Question:
Im looking for a rooftop rack system to mount a Tepui tent on a 2001 Chevy Silverado with a 6.5 foot camper shell. What do you recommend. The tent weighs about 130 lbs with two adults 350 total weight less than 500 lbs.

This crossbar setup has a maximum weight capacity of 220-lbs, and will mount to your camper shell on your Silverado and will provide a mounting point for your Thule Tepui Explorer # TH8001KSK05.
This setup will give you more than enough capacity to handle two adults plus the crossbars and the tent.
