I am looking for a roof rack system that I can use with two different vehicles. 2017 Audi Q7 with factory rails 2018 VW Passat naked roof

I have a solution for you but the only parts that are going to be transferable between your 2017 Audi Q7 and your 2018 VW Passat are Thule Evo crossbars. The rails on your Audi require a different attachment method than the VW's naked roof. Thule is the only manufacturer that has something close to what your are looking for.
The crossbars you will need are the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars item # TH711420. These are 53" long and will attach to both your Audi and VW. I have linked a couple review videos below that will show these crossbars being installed on both of your vehicles. I have also linked a picture of these bars installed on an Audi Q7 we had in the shop.
For your 2017 Audi Q7 with the factory rails you will need the following parts:

For your 2018 VW Passat with a naked roof you will need the following parts:
