Hello, I am just wanting to clarify. I feel like I am finding conflicting information and am trying to make sure I have the correct parts. I have a Curt A16 5th wheel hitch and a Mor/ryde SPB72-1621LD which I am assuming is the same as the Lippert 1621. All of the Q and A answers recommend part RP34FR for the Curt A Series however, in the description where it lists what not to use with it states not to use with the A Series. Just wanted to verify that this part does in fact work. I am assuming I need parts RP34FR and wedge RP31016. Thank you.

I just got off the phone with Reese, and they recently clarified the newest Sidewinders will not work with the A-Series due to there not being a wedge for the A-Series they could get to be compatible (the RP31016 wedge does not work with the new Sidewinders).

So to replace your Lippert 1621 with a Sidewinder, you will need a new 5th wheel hitch, and an alternative option that will work and has a compatible wedge is the B&W Patriot.
