T-bolt Length Of The Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier
Updated 06/30/2025 | Published 05/25/2022 >
Question:
How long are the t-bolts that come with this carrier? Also, is the head of the bolt square or rectangular? I am trying to determine if they will work with my Magnum Headache rack and rear rack setup.

The t-bolts included in the Thule Hull-A-Port Aero Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH849000 are approximately 1-1/8" in length and have a square head. The threaded portion of the bolts is 1" with the head being roughly 1/8" thick.

I can’t seem to screw my T-bolts with mounting plate through the carrier. Is there a reason the T bolt seems too short? This is without actually adding it to my crossbars.
