Difference Between Curt & etrailer Coupler & Hitch Lock Set

Question:

I am trying to buy a trailer lock kit so that I can have just 1 key for the 3 pieces. I am looking at CURT Trailer Coupler Locks - C23088 and etrailer Trailer Coupler Locks - e68ZR. Would either of these fit my 2021 Jayco Jay Feather X19H? What are the differences between the 2? Is there a different set you would recommend? Thank you!

I can go over the differences in the locks for you, though real quick I do have to note that we wouldn't have any way of knowing what coupler locks fit any specific trailer like your Jayco (locks fit coupler types as opposed to trailers). That said, let's go over the differences.

The etrailer Hitch and Coupler Lock Set - 2" Hitch - 2-5/16" Ball # e68ZR is only a fit for a 2-5/16" ball coupler, while the ball coupler can be either 2" or 2-5/16" on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver and Coupler Lock Set - 2" Hitches - 2" or 2-5/16" Ball # C23088.

Another difference is the coupler latch lock, with the etrailer # e68ZR having a 9/32" pin diameter and the Curt # C23088 having a pin diameter of 1/4".

That's it for the differences, and between the two, simply because it offers more diverse options for a fit, I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver and Coupler Lock Set # C23088.
