What Aero Crossbars will Mount on Top of My Factory Roof Rack on My 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon?

Are there aero bars for a 2022 Subaru Outback touring XT? I just picked up the car today. Not the wilderness and yes I have the factory crossbars , but was really hoping for something higher up

Yes! I confirmed with my contact at Thule that they have confirmed an aero bar system that will work with your factory crossbars on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon Touring. For that system, you need the following parts:

- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 50" # TH711300
- Thule Rapid Podium Feet # TH460R
- Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 4063 # THKIT4063

The feet/fit kit installation of this system is unique because it is designed to fit your roof rack that is currently on your Outback Wagon. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows how you attach these components. Since the crossbars attach to your current roof rack, they will be elevated. As far as weight capacity, this system allows you to hold up to 220 pounds. I recommend consulting with your owner's manual to make sure your vehicle can accommodate that much weight.
