Can You Put A Roof Rack Tent On A 2020 Mazda CX-5

Question:

I see where most people are limited to the 165lb weight limit for their SUVs. Is this for the tent itself or is this for the total weight that can be up on the roof? Confused... Looking to put a 2 person Yakima Sunrise Rooftop Tent on top. Please let me know. Thanks

You can mount the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 2 Person - 400 lbs - Tan and Red # Y07436 on your 2020 Mazda CX-5. The 165 pound rating is for roof accessories themselves.

The tent once installed will allow up to 400 pounds to be in the tent and on your roof while the vehicle is stationary.
