Battery Life and Charging Time For The Linxup GPS AT3 Tracking Device

Question:
My trailer sits for long periods of time occasionally, so its likely the built in battery of the gps unit could be drained low or be empty. If I hard wire this onto my utv trailer using the running lights power supply, how long would it take to fully charge the device?

Expert Reply:
I spoke to Linxup and they informed me that if the battery is completely drained on the Linxup GPS Tracking Device # 300-AT3, that it would take between 4-8 hours to fully charge the battery.
Once charged the battery will last up to 3 months as while siting it will report its location once a day. When the device is moving it will report its location every 10 minutes which will cause the battery to be depleted sooner if it is not charging while in use.
