Can I Use the Progressive Dynamics Converter/Charger # PD9160ALV for Lion Energy UT1300 Batteries?
Question:
I just purchased two Lion Energy UT1300 lithium batteries and was told I should replace the converter which is a wp8955pec to get a full, rapid charge. I see pd4655liv is what progressive website says but it is a retrofit unit. This seems like it would be easier to complete DIY replacement and it is less expensive. Please confirm.

Yes, I confirmed with my contact at Progressive Dynamics that the Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - Lithium - 12V - 60 Amps # PD9160ALV will work with any/all lithium batteries (including your two Lion Energy UT1300s).
