Most electric bikes will use a thru axle on the rear wheel due to the bike power. This means your usual means of attaching your bike to a Chariot child carrier, via a quick release axle or via the rear dropout does not work. You will have to replace your bikes thru axle to attach to your Chariot child carrier. Your Himiway Cruiser has a Shimano thru axle that measures 170mm. In order to use your Chariot with your Himiway Cruiser you need to replace the thru axle on your bike with a Shimano Hub Thru-Axle Adapter for Thule Bike Trailers - 12 mm x 170 mm, part # TH20100766. It will be used in conjunction with the Replacement Bike Adapter ezHitch Cup for Thule Bike Trailer and Stroller, part # 50103033.
