Can I Install a Furrion Fireplace in My Home Instead of an RV or Travel Trailer

Question:
Hello, Looking at the Furrion 26” .I want to install this in my downstairs den. It was originally a closet that they put a gas fireplace heater in but don’t like the smell of gas so thought about this. Also there looks like vents on the top behind the faceplate, can it be installed flush ? Thanks,

Yes. You can install a Furrion # FF30SC15ABL in your den since these are designed to be mounted in a recessed wall. There are vents on the top, and it will need to have insulation cleared out of it around that area or it will throw error codes for not ventilating properly. I was able to confirm this with my contact over at Furrion, as well. These units do work off standard 110v/120v electrical that you would find in your home, so you would just need to have a plug installed in the recessed area you're mounting it or be ok with a cord coming out of the wall.
