I reccomend the Curt # C57WR Universal Truck Bed Exender which will fit nearly all full size pickup trucks including Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Dodge, Ram, and Nissan, with standard 60" wide tail gates. (6.5 foot and longer beds) and provide 26-1/2 inches of additional bed length for storage and hauling. May not work with flare-style tailgates. Compatible with most tonneau covers.

This will work with your Ford and give you many more options for hauling things.
