Could Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C Mount on Trailer

Question:
My usual setup is towing a Jeep grand Cherokee with a MandG brake system attached to my Diesel Pusher motor home with a flexible air line using quick disconnects. If I want to tow a trailer with electric brakes, can I mount this unit on the trailer and run my flexible air line and power cable to it from the motorhome? Thanks

It is possible to mount the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C on your trailer but you would have to run the wiring needed to the trailer as well. You'd have to have a dedicated brake circuit, 12 volt power, and ground to this controller as well as the flexible air line.
