What are the Trailer Fuse Locations for my 2018 Ford F-150

Question:

Hey experts - 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum. I sliced my travel trailer wiring harness doing a tight turn. The trailer coupler crunched them against the hitch. One wire was cut totally and two were bare. Must have caused a fuse to blow. Soldered, crimped and taped the wires but must have blown a fuse when a hot wire hit the frame. Do you know the numbers of the fuses I should check to get the running lights going again? No fuses appear to be burned and the fuse for the trailer running lights is good. I saw one of your experts answer a question about brake light problem on trailer and he listed several fuses to check. Thanks a bunch

Check the # 24 for the trailer brake control module, #30 Trailer tow battery charge, #43 Trailer tow lamps module, #53 Trailer tow park lamps, #74 Trailer tow backup lamps and #104 Trailer tow stop-turn relay fuse.

These are the fuses I was able to identify that may be causing you issues. It sounds as if you have done the necessary repair at the rear correctly so I believe you will find one of these blown. While some sound unrelated in a way you never know and it is worth a check while you are there.

If it's not a fuse you may have check to make sure the repaired harness is still fully plugged in and seated well with the truck's wiring. May have pulled out in the process of damaging the wires.
